Following your life purpose is a key to success
Well, it’s been a while since I’ve posted, and here’s why. My business has gone through an overhaul and changed its name from SuccessWorthLiving.com to MakeItSoClub.com, and since that name was a little obscure to most people, to WhereBusinessMeetsSpirit.com.
Though I still help business people achieve the kind of success that also comes with a high quality of life I’m doing a lot more life purpose work, because one of the best ways to enjoy your work and be successful at it is to ensure that it expresses who you really are including your life purpose.
And for anyone who thinks that this is a luxury that is no longer possible in uncertain economic times, let me say this:
Now more than ever, we need to be creative, energetic, resilient, and smart. We need to inspire confidence. We need to do and be all we can to attract clients.
That happens when you listen to your soul’s calling, your life purpose. So it’s not a luxury at all; it’s more essential than ever.
Another benefit of reflecting your life purpose in your work is the surge of energy it brings you. That makes sense because it’s quite draining to force ourselves to fit our square peg in a round hole.
I don’t know about you, but people don’t see the best of me if I’m busy dealing with an environment that doesn’t suit my nature, or doing work that doesn’t draw on my strengths.
And if you think these are uncertain times, then you don’t want to pussyfoot around with less than your best.
