Bless everyone and everything that represents what you want
That is a Hawaiian prayer, and it is profound.
Haven’t you felt the pull of envy when you see someone who’s a resounding success doing what you’d love to do, or enjoys the kind of relationships you’ve always wished for?
It’s not just you; we’re all the same. And that’s one of the very common fears about becoming successful; that we’ll be the target of other people’s negative emotions.
If you’re the kind of person that takes the higher ground, you re-direct your thoughts when you catch yourself being envious, but there’s likely still some charged emotion under those more evolved thoughts. If not envy, then some sadness, regret, anger or self-blame.
Imposing positive thoughts usually only work at the surface level.
How much more powerful is the act of blessing the person and circumstances! That engages your willingness as well as your conscious thoughts.
Not only does it project kindness and goodwill, it puts you on a compatible vibration with the person and circumstances that you’re blessing.
That is important because the basis of the law of attraction is that we attract what is compatible with our vibration.
So by wishing another well, you’ve just made it more likely to join their club!
However to me that’s still not the best part of this Hawaiian practice. The best part is how good it makes you feel.
